1 month old

Jack turned 4 weeks old Sunday night at 11:15 p.m.  I cannot believe it's been a month already!  Jack had his 1 month pediatrician's visit today and he's in both the 50% for height and weight.  This totally surprised me since he gained almost a whopping 3 lbs since he was born!  He is now 9.7 lbs and 21 inches long.  Below are a few pictures that Lissy took last week.

3 weeks old...and gaining weight like he's getting paid for every ounce

Terry and I weighed Jack a week ago Friday and he weighed 7 lbs 3 oz...we weighed him again last night and he's now up to 8 lbs 8 oz!  Is this even possible to gain 1.5 lbs in 9 days??  We're not sure if our scale is wrong or he really is just putting on weight like a pro :)  I guess we'll find out for sure at our 1 month check up next week. I can't believe it's almost been a month.  Time sure does fly when your having fun!  Here are some pictures from the past week - Enjoy :)

2.5 weeks old...

1st week home with Jack

Jack is one week old (at least in 4 hours he is) and this week has just flown by...Terry and I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such supportive family and friends.  A HUGE thanks to my mom for spending Wed-Sat with us.  I couldn't have done it without her...to be honest I cried (like a baby) when she left last night.  I can't wait until she has her spring break in a week and she can come back for a few days.   I guess you always need your mom :)

Jack has arrived!!!

Jack Ryan Tonsing was born on Sunday, February 21st at 11:15p.m.  He weighs 6 lbs 13 oz and is 19 inches long.  Family is doing great - thanks for all of the well wishes :)

Looks like Sunday is the big day!

Sunday, February 21st will be my 39th week and it looks as though it will also be Jack's birthday (or Monday depending on how long labor lasts).  I'm being induced at 8 p.m. therefore look out for pictures and more posts to follow next week.  Wish us luck!!
