Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Cary, IL with Terry's family.  This is the 3rd year that I've attended the big Saul family Thanksgiving and it truly is a highlight during the holiday season.  We LOVE this trip and look forward to it every year.  This year was even more special because Amy (Terry's 1st cousin) and I had our babies 2 days apart in February.  Last year we were the big pregnant women who everyone doted on...this year no one cared about us - it was ALL about Jack and Presley.  Thank you so much Saul Family for hosting/entertaining us!!!  Can't wait for next year :)

Happy Turkey Day 2010!

Too much turkey...

Jack & Presley

Presley like to sit on the game rather than play with it - ha!!

This is Jack's "what are you doing?" face

This was the favorite toy of the weekend.

My goofy son - he blinks 9 times out of 10 when the flash goes off.

Car ride home.

Decorating the Christmas tree last night.

Jack was a BIG help...

This one is out of order but Jack was "in love" with Poly.  She carried him around all weekend, pushed him on this car and even put him down for a nap!! She is going to make one excellent Mom when that time comes :)

Weekend in pictures

Just because I love bath pictures!

Since paper is on Jack's top 10 list - he also loves to read magazines.

A toothbrush is also on his top toy list.

Jack LOVES the tree!

I wish I could have captured his expression when we turned on the lights.  Priceless!

Look who's 9 months old!

A little late posting this...

Jack watched Uncle Andrew compete at State in Cross Country!

Jack & Papa hanging out after the meet.

We drove 2 hours (each way) to watch Uncle Andrew run for 18 minutes!

Long drive - totally worth it!! Congratulations Andrew on making it to State your first year running Cross Country!!
We're so proud of you!

Watch Jack Crawl!

Seriously I don't know why I can't upload a video properly!!! But this is the best it's going to get...I hate my pc.
Enjoy!  If you can't hear it towards the middle I start to ask him to do his "tricks" aka waving, clapping, clucking his tongue, etc.  He's such a little ham!

2nd post in one day requires BIG NEWS!!!

Guess who can crawl?!!!
(and I mean really crawl...he's been doing a mock version for a few weeks...)
This guy!

I love my new house - thanks Aunt Lisa & Uncle Mark!

I crawled all the way to my toys!

These two are just because I couldn't resist!

He also waves bye bye now!

Happy Belated Halloween!

Howdy Partner!
I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend and enjoyed the festivities!!  Ours didn't turn out exactly the way we planned because Jack got sick and has remained sick this entire week :(  Good thing I took him to have his picture taken last week because there's no way I ever want to forget how absolutely adorable he looked in his cowboy outfit.  Staying home with a sick baby for two days definitely isn't fun nor is it anything like playing hooky.  We spent most of Monday and Tuesday crying and yes "we" wasn't a typo.   His fever of 102 finally broke on Tuesday afternoon so he was able to return to daycare on Wednesday.  Terry and I have felt like zombies for the past week and a half because Jack has decided to wake up screaming every night around 2 and 4am.  No reason really...I literally just have to pick him up, snuggle and put him back down but it's still disrupting and exhausting.  Last night was the first night he slept through the entire night and it was a RELIEF and much needed.  Please cross your fingers this continues because I'm sure the entire Saul house is not going to want to wake up over Thanksgiving week/weekend to a screaming baby twice a night.

Terry and I are really looking forward to Thanksgiving in 3 weeks.  We're spending it with Terry's Aunt & Uncle and cousins up near Chicago.  Jack and Presley, 2nd cousins, who are only 2 days apart will finally meet!

3 Strikes equals a Turkey!

This past weekend flew by!  Big thanks to Nana for watching Jack while Terry went to all of my events with me.  Saturday I had two events: Paint New Town Pink & Pink at the Rink with the St. Louis Blues.  I even got to ride on the Zamboni!!!  Sunday was my biggest event of the year (besides the Race) - Spare Nothing for the Cure.  We hosted over 500 bowlers and raised a little over $26,000 in a day!!  I exceeded my financial goal and couldn't be happier.  But the best part of my day was having my family there to support me.  Enjoy the pictures of Team Tonsing:
