Having fun on a Friday with Mama!

Eating breakfast at his big boy table

Another visit to the zoo - we even spent time in the Children's Zoo where Jack got to pet goats and chase chickens.
Coolest thing I've EVER seen at the zoo - two elephants swimming and playing in the water!  We were sooo close it was awesome!!!

At last....

My vacation Fridays are starting this week!!!!  From this Friday through the Friday before Labor Day I'm taking my vacation time as three day weekends this summer - Woo Hoo!  This past weekend my parents and brothers came to St. Louis to help out with Jack because it was the 13th annual Susan G. Komen St. Louis Race for the Cure on Saturday.  Andrew, Ryan & Terry ran in the Race while Grammy and Uncle Ben stayed with Jack.  We fell in participation from 2010 but we're still the largest 5K at 64,088 participants. Saturday afternoon Papa drove into town and we all ate at the Pasta House with Gigi.  Then on Sunday we all took Jack to Grant's Farm for the first time.  He LOVED feeding the goats!
The whole gang on the way into Grant's Farm.
Meltdown when I wouldn't let him throw his cup out of the trolley ride.
 Doesn't he look semi-annoyed?

 This is FUN!
Notice his expression - pure excitement!

Jack didn't care that we were all out of milk bottles for the goats.  He just wanted to run around and pet them and would have all day if we'd have let him.

Jack was not a fan of the carousal that day...
Although Papa seemed to enjoy himself :)

Grammy & Uncle Andrew - I love this picture.

 Goofing around
My sweet boy was exhausted and took a 3 hour nap after we got home.
Can't help but love ravioli pictures!

Happy Memorial/Graduation Weekend!

We drove to Kirksville this weekend to watch my brother, Ryan, graduate high school and spend Memorial Day with the Gordon/Braun/Smith families.
We headed up on Saturday after Jack's Little Gym class.  Gigi (Grandma Lillian) rode with us and entertained Jack in the back seat the entire 3 hour trip.

What do you suppose he's thinking about?  Maybe the huge mess he's making and the fact Grandma will need to rent a carpet cleaner after we leave. Big thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Gordon for the hospitality!  Terry, Jack and I stayed at their house because my parents' house was packed.  We had a wonderful time.  We had an entire floor to ourselves in their house.  Grandma made delicious homemade meals for us and even ironed my clothes for the graduation party.  I'll never be to old to have my grandma dote on me :)

My brother, Ryan, accepting his high school diploma.
Side note: the facility is Truman's basketball gym which is not air-conditioned.  It was at least 90 degrees if not hotter.  I thanked my Aunt Lisa after the ceremony because exactly 10 years ago she sat in that same gym watching me graduate and she was 8 months pregnant!!!  I now fully appreciate what she did for me :)

Playing with Uncle Ben

Jack drags this dancing frog around everywhere.

Watching TV in just a diaper with his Papa and Uncle RyRy

This picture was taken about two seconds before poop literally exploded out of his diaper all over the zebra and green base.  It was so disgusting - it still makes me gag just thinking about it!

All cleaned up and full of posed smiles after the explosion.

Thanks for a wonderful weekend!  We had fun quality family time with the Gordon, Smith and Braun Families!
